In this video, Jeff Christiansen works a mature dog on his driving while staying up with the dog and the stock rather than being in a static position. Moving with the stock allows him to be closer and help the dog make corrections. This lesson really helps with a dog that has been displaying behaviors of being heavy to balance or wanting to bring the stock back to the handler. Jeff is also working on holding a line on the road with the added complexity of keeping the sheep from going into the ditches and grazing.
