Ron Enzeroth

Achievements

"God has blessed me by putting good people and good dogs in my
life," said Ron Enzeroth.

Ron started training Border Collies when he was given his first dog by Henry Spurger. "He and his wife were very special to me and treated me like a son", he said.

That first dog was pretty much all it took to give Ron the Border Collie bug. Since then, Ron said he has been fortunate and met lots of great people.

He has made it to the National Finals several times, placing a few times. Ron has taken out the 2014 Meeker Classic with his dog Mick, and placed at Soldier Hollow and The Bluegrass. In 2025 he won the USBCHA Cattledog Finals with Belle.

"The dogs have taken me to a lot of places I probably would never have seen. Remote places, beautiful places, people’s private ranches and farms", said Ron.

 Besides trialing dogs, Ron also trains dogs for the public and gives lessons. He and his wife Teri operate Twin Oaks Border Collies out of Dublin, Texas.
